Atlantic Highlands fishing blackfishing November 15

Made our 3/4 day fishing trip from the Atlantic Highlands marina today. We went off to the area where we had caught the seabass porgies and codfish and it was not good. The only thing there to catch were the dogfish. WE went to a couple of areas a bit inshore and we were able to catch some blackfish. We were able to send everyone home with their one fish limit. Tomorrow the blackfish limit goes up six per person. The weather for tomorrow looks good so come and try to catch your six. There are some new pictures from today in the gallery so take a look. We supply green crabs and have white crabs available. WE are fishing everyday leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Atlantic Highlands fishing November 12

Made our 3/4 day fishing trip from the Atlantic highlands marina today. The weather was not as nice as we would like and by the end of the day the wind picked up and it rained. We had no seabass or porgies but everyone went home with their one fish limit of blackfish. The weather for tomorrow is for gale force winds up to 40 knots and as of now Saturday looks pretty much the same. The wind is supposed to diminish for Sunday so that looks like the day to fish. Hope to see everyone on Sunday leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm.

Atlantic Highlands fishing November11

We did not make our 3/4 day fishing trip today. The weather in the morning was still windy and we told the people  the ocean might be nice due to yesterdays easterly weather and most decided to wait for another day. Tomorrow the wind is supposed to ok till late in the afternoon so we will be fishing tomorrow. As of now it is supposed to be windy again on Friday but we will have to see. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Atlantic Highlands seabass porgy&blackfish November 9

Made our 7:30 am 3/4 day fishing trip from the Atlantic highlands marina today and it was great day on the water. The weather was so nice that we were able to drift all day. We made short drifts over pieces of bottom and caught some real nice size keeper seabass. We also had some big porgies, a few keeper blackfish and 4 keeper codfish. There are some new pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. The weather for tomorrow is east and northeast wind with gusts to 30 and rain so we will not be sailing. Hopefully it will settle down for Wednesday. ( Wednesday is Veterans Day so remember your Veterans). WE are sailing everyday (weather permitting) leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
