Atlantic Highlands blackfishing December 16

Made our 7:30 am blackfishing trip from the Atlantic Highlands marina again today. It was another real nice day on the water. The anchoring conditions were not easy again due to very little wind. It was not easy staying on the spot but when we did we picked some fish. There were no limits but the high hook had five nice size keeper blackfish. We only had one person with no keepers (but he caught shorts) and the others had from one to four. As of now the weather for  tomorrow does not look too bad so come on down. There are some new pictures from today in the gallery so take a look. Sailing at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm. We have both green and white crabs on board. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Made our 7:30 am black fishing trip from the Atlantic Highlands marina today. It was the nicest day weather wise we've had in awhile. We fished a few different spots. The anchoring conditions were a bit tough with very little wind to hold the boat steady but we were able to pick at the blackfish. We had to reset a few times to stay on the spot. Each time we did we would catch a few fish. There was a mix of shorts and some nice size keeper blackfish. We had no limits but some guys did manage one to four keepers. There are some new pictures in the gallery from the past two days so take a look. The weather for tomorrow looks good so come on and take a trip and catch some of these blackfish for dinner. We are sailing everyday leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm. We have green and white crabs on board. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Made our 7:30 am blackfishing from the Atlantic Highlands marina today. The black fishing today was not great but better than the past few days. We only made one stop with some shifting on the anchors. Managed to pick a mix of shorts and keepers each time we made a shift. We did have one limit and some had from one to four keepers with the shorts and some only caught shorts. The weather the next few days looks good so come and join us to catch some blackfish. Sailing everyday leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3 pm. We have green and white crabs on board. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

The weather kept us at the dock since Saturday (December 6 ) but we made our 7:30 am blackfishing trip from the Atlantic Highlands marina today. It was still a bit cold and windy but the ocean was not rough. Fished a couple of spots and only managed a slow pick. There were no limits but some guys had one to three keeper blackfish and some had none. The weather for the next few days looks ok so come down and catch some blackfish. Sailing everyday leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Atlantic Highlands blackfishing December 10

Due to the severe weather the past few days we have no fished. I posted earlier in the week that I hoped to fish on Thursday but due to the forecast (winds gust to 30) we will not be going. As of now the wind is supposed to diminish for Friday so if it does we will try to go. We will keep an eye on the weather. If it's fit we will leave at 7:30 am and return between 2:30 and 3pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
