Fishing Reports

Atlantic Highlands blackfishing December 4

Made our 7:30 am 3/4 day blackfishing trip today and it was a lot nicer then yesterday. We did not have the strong wind today and the fishing was better. We fished a few drops and caught fish on all of them. It was a mix of shorts and keeper blackfish and as usual some people did better then others. Ben had his limit plus again today while others had from one to three keepers and some only caught shorts but everyone caught. There are a few new pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. The weather for this time of year (December) is great so take advantage of it and come catch some blackfish. The forecast for the next few days still looks good. We are fishing everyday leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm from the Atlantic Highlands marina. We have both white and green crabs on board. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Atlantic Highlands blackfishing December 3

After three days of not fishing due to easterly rainy weather we made our 7:30 am 3/4 day blackfishing trip today. There was a strong westerly wind but it was not that rough. We made a few drops and found fish on all of them. Most of the blackfish were shorts with a few keepers. There weather for the next few days looks better with less wind so come on and make a trip. We are fishing everyday leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm from the Atlantic Highlands marina. We have both green and white crabs on board. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Atlantic Highlands blackfishing November 30

Not enough people showed up today for us or any blackfishing boat to sail. I guess the forecast for wind keep the people away. The forecast for tomorrow is for east winds 2o to 25 knots with rain so we will not be fishing. When the weather settles down we will resume our 3/4 day blackfishing leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm. Hope to see everyone then.

Made our 7:30 am 3/4 day blackfishing trip today from the Atlantic Highlands marina. It was another day with no wind making us flop around on the anchors.
