Fishing Reports

Atlantic Highlands blackfishing January 3 our last trrip for this season.

Made our last 3/4 day fishing trip for 2015 today. We fished a few different spots today and caught fish on all of them. The conditions were not great but Ben finished the season with a limit again today while others had one ,two or only shorts. There a few pictures from today in the gallery so take a look. I want to thank everyone who fished with us this year and have a safe and healthy 2016. We look forward to seeing everyone in the spring (probably mid April).

Atlantic Highlands blackfishing January 2

Made our 3/4 day blackfishing trip again today. We started out where we had caught some blackfish yesterday but it was not as good. We moved to a different area and made a couple of drops and caught a few fish on each one. Most of the blackfish were shorts but we managed a few keepers. There are some new pictures from the past two days in the gallery so take a look. Tomorrow will be our last trip for this season. We will be leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm. We have both green and white crabs on board. Hope to see you for our last trip but if not have a safe and happy new year and we hope to see you in the spring.

Atlantic Highlands blackfishing December 30

After two days of bad weather we made our 3/4 day blackfishing trip today. The ocean as nicer then we expected but the fishing was not that good. We tried a few spots and only caught a few fish on each one. We did have one limit (Ben again) and a few people had from one to three keepers but most had none. There was a bit of a swell and the water was dirty from the weather the past two days. The forecast for tomorrow is for westerly wind and hopefully the ocean will settle down and the fishing will improve. There are some new pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. We will be fishing every day ( including New Years Day ) until Sunday January 3rd which will be our last day leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm. We all had a good laugh today when a seagull landed on Ben's head (see gallery). We have both green and white crabs on board. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
