Fishing Reports

Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing June 3

Made both morning and afternoon trips from the Atlantic Highlands marina today. The weather was much better than anybody expected. It was a bit chilly but calm despite the weather mans small craft warning. We are fishing in Sandy Hook bay where the water is warmer and calmer than the ocean. On both trips we had good short action with everyone catching fluke however there was not a lot of keepers. Dave made both trips and had 3 keepers in the morning and 1 keeper in the afternoon. So come and make a trip and have some fun and maybe catching a keeper fluke for dinner. We are sailing everyday day making two trips 8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

We have been making both morning and afternoon trips everyday from the Atlantic Highlands marina. The fishing has been the same the past few days. As in the last report the fishing has been mostly shorts with a few keeper fluke each trip. When we have favorable drifting conditions we have more action. Today the morning trip was better then the afternoon trip. The short action was a bit better then the past few days and tire John got lucky with four keeper fluke. The afternoon was poor. We never know what trip will be better. We have been doing all of our fishing in Sandy Bay where the water is warmer and it is calmer most of the time. There is a new picture in the gallery so take a look. We are sailing everyday making two trips 8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
