Fishing Reports

Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing May 25

Made both morning and afternoon trips today. It was nice to have some warm weather for a change. We have been catching mostly shorts with some keeper fluke mixed in on both trips. Today on the morning trip Dave McDermott caught the biggest fluke of the season so far. It was his personnel best weighing in at 11 1/4 pounds. It was last year on this date that Tony Paio caught the biggest of the season with his 14 pounder. There are some new pictures in the gallery to see. We are fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). The weather looks good so come make a trip and have some fun. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

May both morning and afternoon trips again today. The water is still pretty cold ( 56- 58 degrees) but we are able to pick at the fluke. On the morning trip most people caught fluke but only a few were keepers. On the afternoon trip the fishing was not as good. We are fishing in Sandy Hook bay and the action depends on the drifting conditions. Hopefully as the water warms up the fishing will improve. Take a look at the pictures in the gallery.
