Fishing Reports

Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing July 2

We have been making both morning and afternoon trips the past few days. Every trip we have been catching fish. We have been fishing the Sandy Hook bay and Flynns Knoll areas. As usual when the drifting conditions are good the action is better. Most of the fish are still shorts but the people are having fun with the action and there are a few nice size keepers being caught. There are some new pictures in the gallery so take a look. We are sailing everyday making two trips ( including July 4th) leaving at 8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm. Be safe and enjoy the holiday. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing June 25 and 26

The past two days we make both morning and afternoon trips from the Atlantic Highlands marina. Yesterday (June 25) we had very good action on both morning and afternoon trips. On both trips we had more keepers then some of the previous days. Today on the morning trip the drifting conditions were not good and the fishing was not as good. We picked at the shorts but not many keepers. On the afternoon trip the drifting conditions were good and so was the action. We ended the afternoon trip with one of our better keeper catches. There are some new pictures in the gallery from the past two days so take a look. We are sailing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Made both morning and afternoon trips today and it was one of the nicest days so far. The weather was great and the fishing was good. On both trips everyone caught fish but not everyone caught keepers. The afternoon trip was better with keepers with Tom McCall having his limit and Kevin Kelly with a 6lb pool fish. We are still fishing in Sandy Hook bay. We never know which will be better cause the drifting conditions are important. Take a look at the new pictures in the gallery from today and other days. We are sailing everyday making two trips 8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm. So come and join us for some fun. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
