Fishing Reports

Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing June 16

We have been making both morning and afternoon trips the past few days. We are catching fluke on both trips. The better the drifting conditions the better the fishing. The action has been a mix of keepers and shorts. Some people catch up to four or five keepers while some only catch shorts. The big fluke of today was a 9 3/4 lber caught by Dan Kirchner from Springfield N.J. Sandy Hook and Raritan bays have been the best areas. There are some new pictures in the gallery from the past two days so take a look. We are fluke fishing everyday making two trips(8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). The weather has been great so come have some fun and catch some fluke. Looking forward to seeing everyone

It was a nice day and we made both morning and afternoon trips again. We had a good drift on the morning trip and we picked at a mix of shorts and keepers. On the afternoon trip we had poor drifting conditions with a little wind against some current and no movement. We managed to catch some fluke but not as good as the morning. There are some new pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. We are fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Come enjoy the weather and have some fun catching fluke. Made both morning and afternoon trips again and it was a much better day. We thought we were going to have another windy day but the wind died down and we had good drifting conditions. We picked away all morning with some shorts and some nice size keeper fluke. Everyone caught fish and most went home with a fluke dinner. We went back to the same area in the afternoon. In the beginning we had no drift but when we started drifting we began to pick again. There are some new pictures in the gallery so take a look. The weather looks good so come make a trip and have some fun. We are fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.

On the afternoon trip the wind picked up that made for a fast drift but we still managed to catch some fish. There are some new pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. We are fluke fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Come make a trip and have some fun we are looking forward to seeing you.

Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. On the morning trip it was still a bit windy and we only could fish in one area of Sandy Hook bay due to the drifting conditions but we picked at the shorts and ended up with some keepers. On the afternoon trip the wind calmed down and we were able to fish out further in Raritan Bay. The drifting conditions were great. We had plenty of action with a mix of shorts and keepers. When the trip was over we ended up with the best catch of keepers so far this year. We had some limits and others with one to three while a few only caught shorts. This is why we never know which trip is going to be better. So come make a trip, have some fun and maybe it will be the good trip. You never know you might get your picture in the gallery. There are some new pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. We are fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
