Fishing Reports

Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing July 15

We made both morning and afternoon trips the past few days from the Atlantic Highlands Marina (even today in the rain). Everyone stayed at the rail and kept fishing. The fishing is still the same as the last report with good action with shorts and some keepers on every trip. We are still finding most of our fish in Sandy Hook Bay. There are some new pictures in the gallery from the past two days so take a look. We are sailing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 ands 1:30 to 6pm). Come have some fun and maybe get your picture in the gallery. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

The past few days we have been making both morning and afternoon trips everyday. The action has been good on all trips with everyone having fun catching fish. Most of the fish are shorts but there are some nice keeper fluke mixed in. Sometime we  see more keepers on the morning trip and sometimes on the afternoon trip. There is no way to tell which one will be better. WE are still finding the fluke in Sandy Hook Bay and the Flynns Knoll areas. There some new pictures in the gallery from the past few days so take a look. WE are sailing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Come make a trip and have some fun catching some fluke. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Again we have been out on both our morning and afternoon trips from the Atlantic Highlands marina the past few days. Yesterday we found the morning trip to be better then the afternoon trip. Both trips had plenty of action but we had more keeper fluke on the morning trip. Today it was the same good action with shorts on both trips but we had more keeper fluke on the afternoon trip. AS I always say you never know which trip will be better. So pick a trip that fits your schedule and come and have some fun catching some fish. There are some new pictures in the gallery so take a look. We are sailing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Made both morning and afternoon trips again the past two days  from the Atlantic Highlands marina. The weatherman scared most people yesterday but we made both trips and  it was nice on both trips. Today the weather was great on the morning trip but we had a few showers on the afternoon trip. The showers did not stop the people from fishing ( it actually cooled them off). As usual when we had a good drift the action was the best. Even with a poor drift we still picked some fish. We are still finding the fish in Sandy Hook Bay and the Flynns Knoll areas. Ben was the high hook this afternoon with four keepers. There are some new pictures in the gallery so take a look. We are sailing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Have not posted a report the past few days but we have been fishing everyday making both morning and afternoon trips. The fishing has been pretty much the same. When the drifting conditions are good the action is the best. When the drifting conditions are not good we still catch fish but not as good. Everybody is catching shorts and there are a few keepers mixed in. We are still fishing in Sandy Hook Bay and the Flynns Knoll areas. Even when the south wind blows we are able to catch some fish in the bay. There are some new pictures in the gallery from the past few days so take a look. Come and make a trip and have some fun. We are sailing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
