Fishing Reports

Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing June 24

Made both morning and afternoon trips again and it was a better day. On the morning trip we were able to fish the Reach channel and we picked at a mix of shorts and keepers. On the afternoon trip the wind picked up a bit and we had to fish in sandy Hook bay. There we also picked at a mix of shorts and keepers. The action on both trips was about  the same and everyone caught fluke but not all had keepers. We had more keepers today than the past few days. There are some pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. The weather has been nice so come make a trip and join us for a fun day on the water. We are fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.

The weatherman kept most of the people away but we made both morning trips again today. Despite the forecast it was a nice day to be fishing. On the morning trip we fished a few different areas in Sandy Hook and Raritan bays. When we had a drift we caught some shorts and a few keepers but when we lost the drift we tried a different area. On the afternoon trip we had better drifting conditions in Sandy Hook bay. The results were the same with a pick of shorts with a few keepers. Take a look at the gallery for some of the fluke caught today. We are fluke fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone

We have been making both morning and afternoon trips  everyday. The past few days the fishing was not been a good as it was last week. Even though the fishing has slowed up we are still catching. On the morning trip today the drifting conditions were poor but we picked at the shorts and had some keepers. On the afternoon trip the drifting conditions were better and the action was good but it was mostly shorts and not as many keepers as the morning. We never know which trip will be the best. Sandy Hook ,Raritan bay and the Reach channel have been producing the best when the conditions allow. There some new pictures in the gallery from the past few days so take a look. We are fluke fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Come make a trip and have some fun. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

We have been making both morning and afternoon trips everyday. We have mostly been fishing the reach channel but this morning due to no drifting conditions we tried some different areas in the Sandy Hook and Raritan bays to get a better drift. Every place we went we caught fluke but mostly shorts with some keepers. On the afternoon trip the drift was too fast in the channel. We managed to catch some fish in other parts of the bay where the drift was better. There are some new pictures in the gallery so take look. We are fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
