Fishing Reports

Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing June 7

The weather was nice and we made both morning and afternoon trips today. On the morning trip we picked a few fluke each drift. Most were shorts but there were a few keepers mixed in. On the afternoon trip the action was slower with less shorts but a few more keepers then the morning. The big fish of the day was caught on the afternoon trip. It was a 6 lb 4 oz  fluke caught by Simon Zhao from Flushings N.Y. On both trips we fished in Sandy Hook Bay. There are some new pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. The weather for tomorrow looks good so come make a trip. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

The weather forecast scared most of the people away but we were able to make the morning trip today. It was  overcast but it never did rain. The action was better then yesterday with mostly shorts but some nice size keepers mixed in. Dae Kang from Staten Island had a good morning with a pair of nice size fluke. The biggest weighing 7 lbs 14 ozs and another weighing 4 lbs  8 ozs.  We are fishing for fluke making two half day trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. Both trips were pretty much the same. We fished in Sandy Hook Bay. We picked at the shorts and caught a few keepers. We are fluke fishing everyday making two half day trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:03 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
