Had to get past the ice but we made our 3/4 day trip for blackfish today. The fishing was not good with a pick at the shorts and a few keepers. It was bitter cold but not much wind. There a few pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. I had hope to finish the season on New Years day but due to the continued bitter cold today was our last trip. I would like to thank everyone who fished with us this year. HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR AND A SAFE WINTER. Looking forward to seeing everyone in the spring.

Made our 3/4 day trip for blackfish again today. It was cold but there was less wind which made for a nicer day. We made a few drops and caught blackfish on all of them. The bite was better then yesterday with mostly shorts but some nice size keepers also caught. There are some new pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. We are 3/4 day fishing everyday for blackfish leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3 pm (weather permitting). As of now tomorrow does not look good with cold and strong wind. We will have to see what it is like in the morning. The forecast for Friday looks much better. Still cold but much less wind so Friday might be a better day. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I HOPE EVERYONE HAD A MEERY CHRISTMAS. It was windy and cold and not many people showed up but we made our 3/4 day trip for blackfish today. There was a strong current and with the wind it was hard to feel the bites. We picked at the shorts and caught some keepers. It was not as good as the day before Christmas. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. There are a couple of pictures in the gallery so take a look. We are 3/4 day fishing everyday for blackfish leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm. It is supposed to cold again tomorrow but we plan on fishing. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Yesterdays weather kept us at the dock but we made our 3/4 day trip for blackfish today. The forecast for today did not look good and we thought the ocean was not going to be nice but we were wrong. There was not much wind and the ocean was calm. We only made two drops. We only caught a few shorts on the first one. On the second spot we picked at the shorts and caught a few keeper blackfish. We were going to move but there was just enough action to stay with. We had people had the patience to stay with the pick. By the end of the day we ended up with a better catch of keepers then we had the past few trips. We had one limit and some had from one the four keeper blackfish while a few only caught shorts. Take a look at the gallery and see some of the keepers from today. We will not be fishing tomorrow (CHRISTMAS) but Tuesday we will be back on schedule fishing everyday for blackfish leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3 pm. They are forecasting some cold temperatures but we will be fishing everyday. Looking forward to seeing everyone and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS.
