Fishing Reports

Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing June 27

We had a little rain early this morning that kept most of the people away but we made both morning and afternoon trips again today. After that it the weather was nice. We fished different areas in Sandy Hook Bay and Flynns Knoll. We picked some shorts and only a few keepers. The biggest fluke of the season so far was caught on the morning trip when Ben Santos from Aberdeen N.J. landed a 10 lb 5 oz giant. Take a look at the gallery to see his and some other keepers from today. We are half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. On both trips the fishing was not good. We tried different areas and the results were the same. Some shorts and a few keepers. Even today the short action was not as much as it has been. We keep on trying every trip and hopefully tomorrow will be better. There are a few new pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. I know the fishing is not as good as we would like but if you want a nice day on the water and maybe catch a fluke come make a trip. We are half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
