Atlantic Highlands bottom fishing October 28

Yesterdays storm kept us at the dock but we made our 3/4 day bottom fishing trip today. The ocean was nicer then we thought it would be after the storm. There was a ground swell but it was not rough. We went to the area where we have been fishing but fishing was not good. On the first drop all we caught were five silver eels. Made a few more drops and all we could do were a couple of blackfish only one being a keeper. Took a ride to a different area and only caught more silver eels. Took another ride but only caught eels and dogfish. Only one picture for the gallery today. Hopefully he ocean will calm down and the fishing will improve. We are 3/4 day bottom fishing for sea bass, porgies and blackfish everyday leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
