Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing August 9

Made both morning afternoon trips the past two days from the Atlantic highlands marina. Yesterday was the better of the two days. On the morning trip the morning started out slow but we had a few fair drifts and were able to put some nice keeper fluke in the boat. On the afternoon trip is was not as good but again we had some nice size keepers. We picked at the shorts also but not a many as previous weeks. Today on the morning trip we did not have much of a drift. We picked at the fish but not as good as Saturday. The on the afternoon trip the conditions were better but fishing was slower. We were able to catch the fish in Sandy Hook and Raritan bays and not have to deal with the rough ocean conditions. There are some new pictures in the gallery from the past two days so take a look. WE are sailing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Come make a trip and have some fun catching some fish. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
