Fishing Reports

Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing May 25

It was the first day of fluke fishing and we made both morning and afternoon trips today.  On the morning trip we had good drifting conditions and we picked at shorts and keepers on every drift. On the afternoon trip the drifting conditions were not as good. We still picked but we did not have as many keepers as the morning. I think for the first day it was ok fishing. The drifting conditions are important and we never know which trip will be better but we always trying. Take a look at the gallery and see some of the fluke from today. We are fishing in Sandy Hook and Raritan bays. We are half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Pick a day and come join us for some fun. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

On the afternoon we only caught shorts. There is a picture in the gallery from today. Starting tomorrow we will be half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). The weather looks good for the next few days so come start the fluke season with us. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

The weather forecast kept most of the people away but we made our morning trip today. We had no rain. We made two stops and caught a few fish on both. Mostly shorts but we had a couple of keeper stripe bass and a big (60-70 lbs)  black drum. It did start to rain about 12:45 and there were not enough people for the afternoon trip. You can see the fish from today in the gallery. We are half day fishing everyday for stripe bass making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). We only have two more days ( Wednesday and Thursday) for stripe bass. Friday May 25 we will be switching to Fluke. So if you want a shot at the bass pick a day. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
